WYOU, Madison’s Community Access Television, is seeking motivated volunteers to become members of the WYOU Board of Directors. The WYOU Board is a working board. Board members are required to attend the monthly Board meeting (the last Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m.), and expected to attend committee meetings to which they are assigned.
Board member nominees should be dedicated to promoting WYOU, be goal-oriented, have long-range vision, be innovative, be willing to take responsibility for giving WYOU direction, be willing to make decisions with WYOU as primary interest, have no hidden agendas, be respectful of opinions of others, be committed to democracy, individual rights, freedom of expression, and public service.
