Read a good book lately? Want to spend time with the authors and benefit community media at the same time? The 7th Annual Wisconsin Book Festival, together with WORT-FM Community Radio and WYOU Cable TV present:
A special “Meet the Authors” reception with "Media Matters" host (and former WORT programmer) Bob McChesney; award-winning journalist Amy Goodman, host of “Democracy Now!” (who was recently arrested while covering the RNC in St. Paul); and independent reporter Jeremy Scahill, whose Blackwater exposé sparked a Congressional inquiry.
