Obama Flash Rally in January

Where were you late on election night? WYOU Technical Director Eric Allin was getting ready for bed when he heard the noise...more than a mile away...large crowd noise.

Eric grabbed his video camera and ran to the capital square where a spontaneous gathering of people was beginning to occur. Obama had been declared the victor and a flash rally was starting to kick in. See it as it happened all this month on WYOU.

See the footage at 9:00 pm every Tuesday in January 2009. (Check our online schedule for additional airings.)

The Making of The Mad City Chickens Documentary

Mad City Chickens is a documentary on people who keep chickens in the city, and Madison is a leader in the backyard poultry movement. The film premiered to a sold out audience at the 2008 Wisconsin Film Festival and will be release on DVD sometime in early 2009.

WYOU Education Director & Program Coordinator Robert Lughai and his filmmaking partner Tashai Lovington produced the feature-length film as well as the 25 minute behind-the-scenes short which airs all this December here on WYOU.
See the Making of The Mad City Chickens Documentary Mondays at 9:30 pm, Saturdays at 3:00 pm and Sundays at 10:00 pm. Check our online schedule for more days and times.
